ABOUT


Ani Hopkins is a computer scientist, teacher, and art historian. She obtained a Bachelor of Science with dual minors in computer science and art history in 2019 from Tufts University.

In her professional life, Ani has been teaching computer science for three years. She has taught subjects ranging from introductory C++ to web development, computational physics, machine structure, x86 Assembly programming, and software development in C.

Ani has worked for The Tufts Daily as a staff news writer and a website editor, among other roles. She currently lives in Somerville, MA and teaches for Girls Who Code.

Her scholarly work focuses on the history of Armenian painted manuscripts and their interactions with the architectural environments in which they were created. Her work has been published in Princeton's Kunstkammer undergraduate journal of art and art history.

Outside of work, Ani likes comics, cooking, podcasts, and trains. She enjoys working on side projects of all natures, whether programming, writing, or expanding her visual arts practice.
